Hello my name is Alex! I am a motion graphics artist and illustrator. I also enjoy incorporating animations to my pieces. Besides that, let me give you a quick introduction to myself.
I have always been fascinated with the world or art and creativity ever since I was a child. I went from being known as the best known artists at my elementary school to opening up a DeviantArt account when I was 12 and delving into the digital side of art. (I will not indulge you into that account as the art is very cringe-worthy.) I took my passion into attending Tribeca Flashpoint, which was a really good animation school into Chicago. Unfortunately, the school had been bought out and a lot of the strong teachers and resources I had were depleted. I managed to earn my Bachelor's degree in Animation and VFX but unfortunately without the skillset that I was originally promised when I had first attended. It was quite a challenge leaving and not knowing what my future held for me. It was the first time in my life that I looked at my passion as a failure because maybe I didn't push myself hard enough, or relied too much on an institution to give me a skillset and knowledge I needed to succeed.
After that, I took a break from making art and I truly did not know what to classify myself. However, taking the time to reflect on myself and seeing where I want to go, I have decided to fully dedicate myself into my passion. During the past year I have been working a full time job as a barista to pay the bills, but on the side I have been teaching myself the basic of motion graphics and taking my illustrations to a different level. I also have tried my best in putting myself out there by doing some freelancing projects, art vending opportunities, and doing an art show. I am proud to say that I believe my work presents the best version of myself
